引言
上一篇文章講解技嘉 4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 顯示卡,並附有溫度測試,本文將重點放在遊戲表現。雖然 NVIDIA 將 4060TI 8G 定位為 1080P 卡,但我們沒有打算測試 1080P 遊戲,而是測試了 1440P 及 2160P。理由好簡單,因為我們比較懶,沒興趣也沒時間測試 1080P。我們手上剛好有一張技嘉 4070 GAMING OC,順帶加入本文測試。我們曾測試出 4070 AERO OC 非常好超,今次 4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 超頻表現如何?
顯示卡規格
GPUZ V2.53.0。技嘉 4060TI EALGE OC 8G 最大 POWER LIMIT 是 216W,比預設 160W 高出 50W 有多。
HWINFO64 V7.46-5110。
MSI AFTERBURNER V4.6.5。預設最高電壓值是 1.075V,最大電壓值 (+100%) 是 1.125V。

經測試,我們手上的 4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 最大超頻設定如下:
未有拉爆 +2000 MEMORY 的原因是因為在某些遊戲裡會出現黑 MON 情況繼而彈 GAME。REBAR OFF 是因為之前一直不斷 CLEAR CMOS (GSKILL 24G 測試),直頭忘記了 REBAR 須在技嘉 BIOS 內手動打開,不得不感謝技嘉!
HWINFO64 用作顯示卡數據收集外。所有測試遊戲均運行其內置 BENCHMARK,FPS 記錄由 NVIDIA FRAMEVIEW 負責 (頭五秒唔計)。以下有五款遊戲的測試數據。請注意,以下的 MEMORY ALLOCATED 並不代表遊戲中實際佔用的記憶體容量。
遊戲測試
以下遊戲測試數據會以超頻後的 4060TI 8G VS. 出廠預設狀態的 4070 12G 這個角度去講解,因為 4060TI 8G 的出廠性能過弱。簡單來說,對性能有要求又要買 4060TI 8G,就應該超頻。正如對遊戲體驗有要求,又要買 4060TI 8G,打 4K 就不應該開 ULTRA 又不開 DLSS / FSR。
HORIZON ZERO DAWN
1440P (NO DLSS):4060TI 8G 在超頻後大概有 11% FPS 增長,但 FPS 仍然遠於低 4070 12G。值得留意是的是 4060TI 8G 超頻後的功耗和 4070 12G 預設狀態的功耗接近相同。近三槽厚的 4070 GAMING OC 溫度表現極佳,兩槽厚的 4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 略顯吃力。

2160P (NO DLSS):4060TI 8G 超頻後的提升非常可觀,但仍然距離 4070 12G DEFAULT 相當遠。由超頻測試可見,4060TI 8G 的超頻得益主要來自 VRAM GDDR6 頻率增加,核心頻率反而沒有太大優勢。如果比較 1% LOW FPS,在 2160P 下 4070 12G 領先超頻後的 4060TI 8G 約 29%,而在 1440P 下 4070 12G 只領先約 20%,這或反映 VRAM GDDR6 容量及或其 BANDWIDTH 在 2160P 的優勢,因為 4070 12G 的 AVG FPS 在 1440P 和 2160P 下均只有約 25% 領先。

1440P (NO DLSS / NO RT):WATCH DOGS LEGION 是 UBISOFT 的大食代表作,就連 1440P (ULTRA) 也足以吃盡 8GB VRAM。4060TI 8G 超頻升幅約有 6% (AVG FPS),1% LOW FPS 近乎不變。4070 12G 在 AVG FPS 上領先超頻後的 4060TI 8G 約 27%,1% LOW FPS 則大幅領先約 35%。VRAM 問題還是 4060TI 8G 在強行開 ULTRA 後的死症。

深入研究
總結兩張卡在五款遊戲的表現之前,我們在測試過程中發現了兩件怪事。一是剛才提及的 WATCH DOG 3 爆 VRAM 問題,二是其實我們原本打算測試六款遊戲,最後一款其實是 SHADOWS OF THE TOMB RAIDER。我們在測試 SHADOWS OF THE TOMB RAIDER 時遇上黑 MON 閃 MON 最後彈 GAME 的情況,排查後發現是我們的 VRAM 超頻 (+1800) 過高導致。奇怪的是我們須將 VRAM OC 幅度大大降至 +1000 才能完成該遊戲的內置 BENCHMARK,這種不穩定的幅度是我們從未遇過的。一般來說不同的遊戲頂多相差 ~ +200,去到 +800 是非常離譜。我們猜測背後原因可能與遊戲本身及或顯示卡 DRIVER 有關;如果與 GDDR6 溫度有關那便有可能涉及 EAGLE 的設計 (銅管直觸 VRAM IC)。在 4070 AERO OC 12B 上我們輕鬆拉爆 MSI AB 內的 VRAM CLOCK (+2000),那是使用 MICRON GDDR6X;今次 4060TI EAGLE 8G 使用的卻是 SAMSUNG GDDR6,未能拉爆 +2000 VRAM CLOCK 已經非常可惜,只能 +1000 更是浪費。

另一個值得探討的問題自然是 WATCH DOGS 3 在 4K 爆 VRAM 的問題,4060TI 8G 在 2160P ULTRA PRESET 的設定下表現極差,出現嚴重窒機情況。從實時 FRAMETIME 圖表可看到,4060TI 8G FRAMETIME 不斷 SPIKE。
將遊戲畫質設定從 ULTRA 降至 HIGH 後,FRAMETIME 回復平靜再沒有嚴重窒機情況。據遊戲回報,VERY HIGH PRESET 的 VRAM 佔用再沒有超出 4060TI 的 8GB 上限。
關於爆 VRAM 的處理,要視乎遊戲引擎本身,也受 GPU DRIVER 影響,不是每一款遊戲都會讓玩家嚴重爆 VRAM 而出現嚴重窒機情況。WATCH DOG LEGION 2160P ULTRA 只是一例。同樣是極低 FPS,CYBERPUNK 2077 的表現遠勝 WATCH DOGS LEGION,就算 CYBERPUNK 2077 的 MEMORY ALLOCATED 也接近用盡 8GB。
總結
FPS 方面由於五款遊戲各有不同的表現,4070 12G 領先幅度有大有小,SAMPLE 有限以下只供參考。
今次 4060TI 8G 超頻性能提升仍然有約 10%,非常理想;可是功耗方面則會同步上升至約 15% (由 160W 增加至 184W)。個人認為 4060TI 8G 仍然值得超頻,特別是 VRAM GDDR6 方面。如果從 4070 12G 的角度看,4070 12G 的 POWER 與 FPS 之間的比例遠勝於 4060TI 8G。今次將會是一次有趣的全球實驗,如果連 4070 這種性能水平的遊戲卡都賣不去,4060TI 憑藉 $200USD 的優勢又能否吸引主流遊戲玩家升級電腦?有人說 4070 12G 賣得差乃由於會買 4070 12G 的群體早就購入 4070TI,那麼 $399USD 的 4060TI 便有機會再次成為新目標。本文沒有加入 3070 作測試,但據網上評測顯示,至少從 3D MARK 反映,3070 仍然比 4060TI 快不少。以目前港行 3070 的價格走勢 (3100HKD),100W 的差距換來更好的 4K 遊戲表現,這將會是 RTX 4000 系上市以來被同價位的 RTX 3000 系列衝擊得最犀利的一次。4060TI 8G 能否大賣我們也很想知道!
16GB 的 4060TI 據網上資料顯示,就只比 4060TI 8GB 版多出 8GB GDDR6 容量,其餘所有規格不變。如果真的是這樣,$100USD 的差價自然是搵笨。爆 VRAM 而破壞遊戲體驗的兇手當然是遊戲玩家自己,沒有人迫使開啟 ULTRA GRAPHICS SETTINGS。不過有一點值得留意,現時在 4060TI EAGLE 8G 上的 GDDR6 晶片卻是原生 20Gbps 版本 (SAMSUNG),而非官方標稱的 18Gbps (HYNIX)。那麼 16GB 版有沒有機會用上現在仍處於 SAMPLE 狀態的 24Gbps 版本晶片 (SAMSUNG K4ZAF325BC-SC24)?不過就算如此,4070 12G 還是有很多方面比起這種 16GB 4060TI 更值得考慮,例如散熱器等等。
4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 在遊戲中的真實溫度 (裸跑) 大概維持在 70C,如果將 POWER LIMIT 加爆 (216W) 而再提高頻率,便會增加至約 75C。入箱後大概加 5C,便是最終溫度。以這個標準看,4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 在散熱上不算非常突出,只是夠用有餘,同時可以維持較低的噪音水平 (160W 2000RPM)。也許利用背板替 VRM 和 VRAM 輔助散熱會對 GPU 溫度有一點點幫助,但是由於 4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 的背板是膠背板,被動散熱的效果應該會大打折扣。想要更好的散熱設計,4060TI GAMING OC 8G 應該可以。但是由於存在 $499 的 4060TI 16GB,原則上這會壓迫 4060TI 8G 中高階非公的生存空間。當然 ASUS 4080 STRIX 也有人買,所以很難說得準。可是會對 4060TI 這個價位有興趣的買家,大多會是個價格敏感型消費者。
POWER LIMITI 上技嘉也盡力了,至少技嘉保留了這個選項讓有需要和有興趣的朋友享受超頻樂趣。VRAM 超頻的收益巨大,可惜我們手上的 SAMPLE 只能 +1800。嚴格來說兩家 VRAM IC 廠背後運行的時序 (假設 NVIDIA 跟隨原生時序) 其實有點不同,所以 SAMSUNG + 1800 或許已經等同 MICRON + 2000 (GDDR5 年代)。換個角度思考,我們慶幸抽到這張 SAMPLE,因為這張卡應該可以更貼近一般水平。核心頻率方面是非常奇怪,就算 4060TI EAGLE OC 8G 超到 3000MHZ,也沒有料到。POWER LIMIT 已是 216W,是 NVIDIA 在 BIOS / DRIVER 中落了手腳嗎?毫無疑問 4060TI 8G 是 RTX 4000 系中核心頻率最容易突破 3000MHZ 的型號,但是 3000MHZ 得個睇字沒有意思。
VRAM MOSFET 裸跑是技嘉一貫風格,膠背板就似是有內鬼了 (笑)。原則上 HDT 應該有能力應付 ~200W,技嘉要是將 EAGLE 設計為四銅管直觸而 GAMING / AERO 為五銅管直觸就好了。我們非常欣賞技嘉繼續以超頻作為發展方向,216W BIOS 配 SAMSUNG 20Gbps GDDR6 值得一讚。
